HOUSEHOLD GOODS & PERSONAL EFFECTS
- A foreigner may import household goods and personal effects duty free under the following conditions:
- They have diplomatic status or work for an NGO
- A letter is obtained from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs verifying the owner of the goods' diplomatic status or employment with an NGO and requesting Customs to permit duty-free import
- The owner of the goods does not have to be present for Customs clearance, however, the owner of the goods' employer must be registered and issue a letter on company letterhead stating that the owner of the goods is employed in Cambodia.
VEHICLES
- A foreigner may import a motor vehicle under the following conditions:
- They have diplomatic status or work for an NGO
- A letter is obtained from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs verifying the owner of the goods' diplomatic status or employment with an NGO and requesting Customs to permit duty-free import.
- All automobiles must be left-hand drive.

PETS
- Most pets, including dogs, cats and birds can be brought into Cambodia with no quarantine period required. The documents necessary at the time of import are a current health certificate (not more than 7 days old) and a current vaccination card

- Human remains and body parts
- Firearms, weaponry and their parts
- Perishable food items
- Live animals (some species / breeds permitted; contact agent for details)
- Plant and plant materials
PROHIBITED ITEMS
- Batteries
- Acids, chemicals, corrosives, gases, infectious substances, oxidizers, radioactive substances, etc.
- Flammable substances
- Alcohol
- Perfumes
- Poisons
- Tobacco
- Paints
- Pornographic materials
