  • Customer must be in Mauritius when goods arrive. Goods must be used and in the possession of the customer for more than one year.
  • All import shipments are subject to additional charges
    • Customs systematically inspect all containers arriving in the country. These inspections have resulted in demurrage, parking fees, and inspection fees between $100 and $200.

  • Duty rates on autos for a returning resident will be 15% on CIF value, plus 9.6% Sales Tax on CIF, plus duty. The value will be assessed by customs after the verification of the autos.
